The 33rd Sun Yat-sen Soong Ching Ling Memorial Place Joint Conference was held on October 11 at the Wuchang Uprising Memorial Hall of the Revolution of 1911 in Wuhan.

The joint meeting was hosted by the Wuhan Municipal Bureau of Culture and Tourism. Nearly 70 representatives from 38 memorial places in various provinces and cities across the country and Hong Kong attended the meeting.

Mr. Sun Yat-sen and Mr. Soong Ching Ling are recognized generations of great men and couples of revolution.

"The City of First Righteousness" Wuhan has close ties with Sun Yat-sen and Mr. Soong Ching Ling.

According to historical records, Mr. Sun Yat-sen visited Wuhan twice and gave a speech at the "Honglou" (the Memorial Hall of the Wuchang Uprising of the Revolution of 1911).

In his book "Strategies for the Founding of a Nation", a grand conception of Wuhan was made from the perspective of the development of modern civilization.

The joint meeting has been held for 33 sessions since its inception. Through active exchanges and cooperation, all member units have promoted each other and played an important role in the further inheritance of Sun Yat-sen and Soong Ching Ling's ideological spirit.

The Sun Yat-sen Soong Ching Ling Memorial Site Joint Conference was founded in 1989, and its member units are Sun Yat-Sen, Soong Ching Ling Memorial venues and related institutions all over the world.
