In Wakayama City, where water supply was resumed on the 9th due to a large-scale water outage, turbidity of water was confirmed in a wide range, but on the night of the 10th, the city said that it was safe as drinking water. Announced that it is now available.

On the 3rd of this month, a part of the water bridge collapsed and the water supply was cut off at about 60,000 households. After that, turbidity of water was confirmed in a wide range, and there were areas where it could not be used as drinking water.

Regarding this, Wakayama City announced that it can be used as drinking water throughout the city after 8 pm on the 10th, saying that the safety was confirmed as a result of the water quality inspection.

However, since the water supplied to each house or business is not individually inspected, we are calling for confirmation of any abnormalities such as turbidity when using it.

In addition, we have decided to set up water supply stations at 29 locations in the city for the time being, as there is a possibility that turbid water will come out for a while.
