At 8:40 on October 10, the 55,851 test EMUs departed from Guiyang North Railway Station, marking that the newly-built Guiyang hub Xiaobi via Qingzhen East to Baiyunbei connecting line has entered the operational test stage, marking the opening of the entire railway line. Countdown.

  The Guiyang Ring Railway has a total length of about 113km and is a national railway double-track electrified railway.

Among them, the section from Xiaobi to Baiyun North is a newly built line with a total length of about 83km. After opening, it will be connected to the existing line before opening to traffic, forming the Guiyang ring line.

Construction of this section started in December 2013 and will be fully completed on April 27, 2021. The static acceptance will start in early July 2021. On August 19, 2021, it will enter the joint debugging and joint test phase, and on October 10, 2021. Today, it entered the operational test phase.

  The Guiyang Ring Railway connects with 7 main railway lines including Guiyang (Guiyang)-Guangzhou (Guangzhou) Passenger Dedicated and Cheng (Chengdu)-Guiyang (Guiyang) Passenger Dedicated Railway in the road network.

In the Guiyang area, a hub pattern of "one ring and seven shots" is formed with Guiyang as the center, radiating Zunyi, Tongzi, Bijie, Panzhou, Xingyi, Duyun, Libo, Tongren, Kaili, Kaiyang and other important surrounding areas.

  Guiyang Huancheng Express Railway has the characteristics of large transportation capacity, convenience and speed.

After the opening of the Guiyang Ring Railway, important transportation methods such as local light rail, urban buses, national railway lines, and airports can be connected and quickly integrated into the urban public transportation network system, shortening the time and space distance of Guiyang and Gui'an, and forming an overall regional transportation in Guiyang. The three-dimensional network plays an important role in promoting the coordinated development of urban clusters and towns in Guiyang, and in the initial realization of the smooth connection between Guiyang and the outside world.
