厚生労働省によりますと、新型コロナウイルスへの感染が確認された人で、人工呼吸器や集中治療室などで治療を受けるなどしている重症者は、10日時点で483人（－18）となっています。
一方、症状が改善して退院した人などは、10日時点で、国内で感染が確認された人が168万109人、クルーズ船の乗客・乗員が659人の、合わせて168万768人となっています。
また、7日に行われた自主検査を除くPCR検査数などは、速報値で3万6646件でした。
