On October 6, Cao Minkai, deputy director of the Propaganda Department of the Banma County Party Committee, Qinghai Province, and local photographer Jager Dorje took a lot of pictures near Guomang Village, Yaertang Township, Banma County, which is located in the Marke River forest area in the east of Sanjiangyuan. Only wild sambar is active. This is the first time that sambar inhabiting the area has been artificially photographed.

The sambar is sensitive, alert, and good at running, so as long as there is wind and grass, it will basically run around, fleeing from areas that may threaten itself. It is a second-level protected wildlife in China. It was listed in the "World Conservation Union" in 2008. 》Red list of endangered species.

The sambar was recorded by infrared cameras before, but it was not easy to be able to shoot manually this time.

According to incomplete statistics, hundreds of sambar deer live here in the county.

In recent years, as the official ecological restoration and protection efforts in Banma County have increased, the ecological environment has improved significantly, the number of animals and plants has increased significantly, and the activities of protected wild animals have been frequent.
