Before 7:00 am on the 7th, a small helicopter crashed on the footpath in a field in Hadano City, Kanagawa Prefecture, killing Ryo Kato (28), a doctor in Fukui City who was operating.



According to police, Mr. Kato boarded a helicopter alone and was on his way from a heliport in Oi Town, Kanagawa Prefecture, to Kisarazu City, Chiba Prefecture.



On the 8th, two aviation accident investigators of the Japan Transport Safety Board went to the site on the 7th and confirmed with the police that the broken aircraft and parts were scattered.



According to investigators, the cockpit and engine remained at the crash site, while the tail wing behind the aircraft was found about 200 meters away.
