D-1 before the verdict.

In the middle of Nobel week, the literature prize will be unveiled this Thursday by the Swedish Academy.

And like every year, it is difficult to know who will have the honors of the voters, to succeed this time to the 2020 winner, the American Louise Glück.

One thing is certain, France will remain at the top of the most awarded countries in this category, regardless of the nationality of the author awarded this Thursday.

Among the 117 laureates of the Nobel Prize for Literature since its creation, 15 are indeed French.

The most recent is Patrick Modiano, distinguished in 2014. The United States is behind us, with 13 winners, and the United Kingdom completes the podium with 12 winners.
