[Commentary] Wearing a red vest and speaking fluent Mandarin.

During this year's National Day, Millai, an international student from Zimbabwe, Africa, used this attitude every day to provide volunteer services by the West Lake in Hangzhou, Zhejiang.

Because it is a holiday (during) there will be some foreign tourists coming here, so if these foreign tourists, we will also provide them (provide) voluntary services in foreign languages, there may be some foreign tourists who may still not understand Chinese, then we Helping them to give them directions and other issues, (besides) building a human wall by hand in hand is equivalent to protecting them, and you may have to remind them to cross the road safely.

[Commentary] Millai told reporters that he himself likes doing charity very much. In his opinion, he can meet many new friends by doing charity and help him integrate into the local society.

At that time (in the local community) there was an English class for the elderly. (They) wanted to study English seriously and improve their ability to communicate with foreigners. (I think) if they are so old, they still want to learn English in order to be able to communicate with us. There is a communication, then we should take the initiative to communicate with them, so what is the best way?

We do public welfare, through voluntary service and cultural exchanges.

[Explanation] In 2019, based on his own experience, Millai created the international volunteer service platform "Leave the Way—APL". The platform has attracted volunteers from nearly 100 countries. Millai expressed the hope that through this platform, International students in China with charitable minds from various countries integrate into China faster and promote cultural exchanges between countries.

The meaning of staying is to stay, and to lead the way (meaning) to lead the way. It also has the meaning of "One Belt One Road".

So my goal is on this platform, hoping to help these foreigners from various countries and help them integrate into the local society in Hangzhou in China.

I hope that these voluntary activities can also be multi-functional, not only contributing to society and serving the people, for example, we learn Chinese culture, the Chinese people, and the local civilized etiquette during this (volunteer service) process, and vice versa. You can spread the culture of your own country. I think this kind of thing is very meaningful.
