We speak of infertility in a couple in the absence of pregnancy after one year of regular sexual intercourse.

In France, around one in eight couples consult because of difficulty conceiving a child.

Infertility can be of male or female origin or associated with both sexes.

However, 25% of cases remain unjustified.
