Tomorrow,

Jean-Michel Othoniel

will be received under the dome of the Palais de l'Académie des Beaux-Arts, in the sculpture section.

But it is at the Petit-Palais, inside the Musée des Beaux-Arts de la Ville de Paris and in his garden that this master of glass beads displays his colorful pieces with a unique and recognizable style.

River or walls of colored bricks, lotus and golden necklace, crown of the night and wild knots, some 70 works which weave with strong reflections a magical and enchanting world.

The exhibition “The theorem of Narcissus”, by Jean-Michel Othoniel, is to be discovered in Paris, until January 2, at the Petit Palais.

Report:

The Petit Palais also offers an exhibition that pays tribute to a master of Russian painting, Ilya Repin.

Considered in his country as the most important artist of the XIXth century, and who is nevertheless unknown abroad.

This is the first French retrospective devoted to this painter, a privileged witness of his time and its upheavals.

Etienne Bouche

visited the exhibition.
