In its report, the Commission reveals that at least 216,000 minors have been victims of priests, deacons and religious since 1950. A “

massive phenomenon

” covered for decades by silence.

The Commission estimates the number of pedophile priests at nearly 3,000 and calls for financial “reparation” to all victims of sexual violence within it since 1950 in France.
