These are two stories of filiation.

One, largely autobiographical, even if it is a novel, allows us to cross the twentieth century.

Marc Dugain's new novel "The Will", published by Gallimard editions, very modestly retraces his father's fate.

The other, still signed Marc Dugain, is the film adaptation of one of Honoré de Balzac's most famous works, “Eugénie Grandet”.

Another story of parentage, that of a father and his daughter.

A work that is also the showcase of a patriarchal XIXth century, but for this film, Marc Dugain makes a feminist adaptation of it served by two impressive actors of narrowly: Olivier Gourmet and Joséphine Japy.
