The Tokyo Metropolitan Government has established a system to inspect and certify infection control measures at restaurants, and is calling on stores that have not yet received certification to actively use them.

Since April, staff members have been visiting restaurants in Tokyo to inspect 20 check items such as ensuring the space between tables, installing acrylic plates, and ensuring thorough ventilation.

On top of that, if sufficient measures are taken, a rainbow sticker with a blue background indicating "inspected" will be issued for certification.

During the "rebound prevention measures period" from October 1st to 24th after the state of emergency is lifted, the city will be able to serve alcohol until 8 pm only at certified stores, and business hours will also be in the afternoon. It was relaxed by 9 o'clock.

According to the city, out of the estimated 120,000 restaurants in Tokyo, nearly 80% of the restaurants have been certified so far, which is more than 93,000, so the city has not yet been certified. The store is actively calling for inspections.

In order to apply, you need to select "Corona Countermeasure Leader" at the store and register from the Tokyo homepage.

The reader will be notified of the inspection by e-mail, and you can also apply by phone.

The number is 0120-313-213 and is open from 9am to 7pm on weekdays.
