Nara Prefecture and Nara City announced on the 28th that it was confirmed that 22 new people were infected with the new coronavirus in the prefecture.
The prefecture also announced that a man in his 80s in Gose City, who had been confirmed to be infected, had died.
A total of 15,341 people were confirmed infected in the prefecture, and 148 people died.
