Gunma Prefecture announced on the 27th that seven new people were confirmed to be infected with the new coronavirus in the prefecture and one died.
It is the first time since July 18 that the number of newly infected people has fallen below 10.
The number of people confirmed to be infected in the prefecture is 16,529, of which 171 have died.
