They are the queens of professional retraining: over the course of their life, bees perform eight different functions, depending on their age.

Each of them is crucial for the hive, and all the trades work in symbiosis.

The bee's first job is to clean it: it rids the hive of foreign elements such as leaves and stones.

The melliferous insect then becomes a nurse for the larvae, then a ventilator.

Using her wings for the first time, she cools the nectar and helps turn it into honey.

The next stage is handler: they are responsible for storing and processing the honey.

Then, the builders are in charge of the architecture and the construction of the hive and the cells.

This hive is protected by the guards.

Then the bees become explorers and seek new sources of nectar and pollen.

They will end their lives by being foragers, to bring food back to the colony.
