The number of people decreased by 44 from last Sunday, falling below the same day of the previous week for 21 consecutive days.
A total of 24,021 people have been confirmed to be infected in the prefecture.
On the other hand, Mito City announced that one person died, bringing the total number of people dead in the prefecture to 214.
