The truth comes out of the mouths of children: “I find that nature reserves are really very useful and that there should be more of them.

These are the words of little Louise, about the French nature reserve of Lauvitel.

Closed to the public for twenty-five years, this reserve is used to study the resilience of nature when man is not active there.

Olivier, Louise's father, grew up here before this land became a reserve.

He exceptionally visits this jewel of biodiversity with other inhabitants of the region, on the occasion of heritage days: “We have very old postcards and the size of the forest has nothing to do with that of today. 'hui.

The park is home to 21 new species that did not exist in France and 4 that had not yet been discovered on a global scale.
