We know a little more about the film adaptation, currently in preparation, of the video game "Super Mario Bros.
".
This Thursday, Nintendo revealed a release date as well as the cast of the future film, reports

The animated feature film will be released on December 12, 2022 on the big screen.
In a tweet, the Japanese company revealed the impressive roster of stars who will lend their voices to video game characters.
The spectators will thus hear Chris Pratt in the role of Mario or Anya Taylor-Joy (
The Game of the Lady
) in Peach.

Co-produced by the creator of Mario
Luigi will be played by Charlie Day, Bowser by Jack Black and Donkey Kong by Seth Rogen.
Charles Martinet, Mario's historic voice for twenty-six years, will also make an appearance in the film, produced by the Illumination studio.
It is not yet clear who will play the different characters in the French version.
Co-produced by Mario creator Shigeru Miyamoto, the feature film will be directed by Aaron Horvath and Michael Jelenic.
A film based on the video game franchise had already been released in 1993.
