In Toulon (Var), liberal nurses see their vehicles increasingly fined in the streets of the city.

They were a dozen to regroup on Tuesday to express their anger, reports

Var-Matin

.

“I had just received treatment at home and I could not find my car.

She had been impounded, ”explains a young liberal nurse on an online group.

The town hall claims to be tolerant

"This could have had dramatic repercussions, if he had had to follow up treatment with other patients or if he had had to take samples to the laboratory in his vehicle," replied a colleague. According to Francis Gahuzes, member of the territorial health professional community and of the Convergence nurse union, these verbalizations are more and more numerous. Some professionals even fear having to choose their patients, depending on the parking lot.

For its part, the town hall ensures to be tolerant.

“Normally, there is no impounding of a car with a caduceus,” assures the deputy in charge of security and the municipal police.

However, there is no question of “letting everything pass”, nor of formalizing a right of way for caregivers.

From a legislative point of view, no text allows them to park where they want.
