Nara Prefecture and Nara City announced on the 24th that 22 new people have been confirmed to be infected with the new coronavirus in the prefecture.
The prefecture also announced that a man in his 50s in Kashiba, where the infection had been confirmed, had died.
A total of 15,256 people were confirmed infected in the prefecture, and 147 people died.
