In Takehara City, Hiroshima Prefecture, to commemorate the graduation of an elementary school student, I drew a senior who was active in the Tokyo Paralympics by using the coastal wall near the school as a canvas.

Every year at Onori Elementary School in Takehara City, a canvas-like painting is drawn on the coastal wall near the school to commemorate the graduation of the sixth grade.

This year's event was created with the theme of the Tokyo Olympics and Paralympics, and depicts the new national stadium, which was the main venue for the Games, and Yuji Taguchi, a graduate of Daijo Elementary School who is the goalball representative of Japan for the Paralympics.

On the 24th, 11 sixth grade children worked with local people to paint a pre-painted sketch in a range of about 1 meter in length and about 10 meters in width.

With a serious expression, the children completed a picture of Taguchi throwing the ball and how they cheered at the venue even though it could not be realized.

The 6th grade children who participated said, "It was a fun mural painting with the cooperation of the local people. I hope many people, including the elderly in the area, will come to see it and get well." I was talking.
