Chinanews, Shenyang, September 24 (Li Xi) China-Korea Cultural and Art Exchange Exhibition "City Illustrated Book" was launched in Shenyang on the 24th.

  This exhibition is one of the series of events of the 2021 China-Korea Investment and Trade Expo and China (Shenyang) Korea Week.

A total of 8 well-known artists from China and South Korea and 30 young scholars' copywriting works will be exhibited.

This exhibition is sponsored by the Shenyang Municipal People's Government, the Korean Consulate in Shenyang, and the Liaoning Provincial Department of Commerce, with the cooperation of Luxun Academy of Fine Arts and Shenyang Municipal Bureau of Commerce.

  The exhibition is divided into two parts: "City·Rhythm" and "City·Imagination".

Among them, "City·Rhythm" mainly displays the value and role of art spaces and art projects in the process of urban construction in Liaoning Province and the construction of major cities in Korea from the perspective of art industry research.

  "City·Imagination" starts from the individual experience of Chinese and Korean artists, and uses paintings, photography, installations and other diversified art forms to showcase urban memories and reflections on urban culture.

From the two dimensions of the art industry and contemporary art, the exhibition outlines the urban illustrations of China and South Korea, aiming to provide the audience with a cultural perspective and visual experience to understand and explore the urban development of China and South Korea, and to deepen their understanding of the culture of the two countries.

  The curator of the China-South Korea Cultural and Art Exchange Exhibition Zheng Jinling said that the "City Illustration" China-South Korea Cultural and Art Exchange Exhibition was held on the eve of the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and South Korea. Appearance is another new exploration of cultural exchanges between the two countries.
