The event received support from 53 partners, including 7 universities, 5 R&D centers, 11 government departments and 30 institutions.

  In the media preview session held on the same day, some R&D projects of participating teams were exhibited.

Among them, the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology has conducted bicycle and resistance tests through research and development systems, and developed low-resistance bicycle clothing. The relevant system has successfully assisted the Hong Kong Cycling Team to achieve good results in the Tokyo Olympics.

  In the 23rd "Hong Kong Youth Science and Technology Innovation Contest" award-winning Diocesan Girls' College, exhibited its "Asthma Detector" to assist asthma patients to monitor abnormal conditions and give them enough time to take an inhaler or ask for help .

The detector will also detect the humidity and pollutant index in the nearby air, and connect to the app to record the patient's asthma.

  While attending the event, Director of Innovation and Technology Agency Pant Tingting said that since the beginning of last year, the world has been affected by the epidemic, and global trade, economic activities, and lifestyles have all emerged as a new normal, and there is a trend towards more widespread application of technology.
