Okinawa Prefecture announced on the 22nd that it was confirmed that 162 new people were infected with the new coronavirus.
It has decreased by 93 people compared to last Wednesday, and is the 28th consecutive day below the same day of the previous week.
The total number of infected people confirmed in the prefecture was 48,997.
