The 107-year-old twin sisters born in Shodoshima, Kagawa Prefecture, have been certified as the oldest twins in history by the "Guinness World Records", surpassing the sisters nicknamed "Kinsan Ginsan".

The oldest twins in history are the sisters of Umeno Sumiyama, who lives in Shodoshima, and Koume Kodama, who lives in Oita Prefecture.



According to the Guinness World Records, the two were born in Shodoshima, Kagawa Prefecture, in 1918, as the eldest and second daughters of 11 siblings.
