Monoprix and Carrefour have in recent days recalled several food products potentially dangerous to health.

The product concerned is called Carrés gourmands dark chocolate whole hazelnuts (200 g) and is marketed under the Carrefour brand.

Presence of E. coli bacteria

The expiration date for tablets is 05/01/2021 or 04/01/2021.

They were marketed between April 30 and September 17 in Carrefour stores.

Customers who have purchased them are advised not to consume them and to bring them back to the store for a refund.

For its part, Monoprix recently recalled burrati di bufala (125 g) sold under the Monoprix Gourmet brand.

One batch (LF1243A) would contain the bacterium

Escherichia coli beta glucoronidase

(E. coli), which can cause serious intestinal disorders and kidney complications, especially in children.

The concerned lot bears the expiration date (DLC) 19/09/2021.

Consumers are invited to destroy this burrata and especially not to consume it.

They can also bring it back to a Monoprix store.

Anyone who has consumed the product and is showing symptoms should seek medical advice promptly.
