The manager of the Au Temps des Livres bookstore in Sully-sur-Loire (Loiret) faced a case of conscience just before the release of Eric Zemmour's book,

La France did not say its last word

.

Not sharing the ideas of the polemicist, she did not want to market the book which arrived on the shelves this Thursday, reports France 3 Center-Val-de-Loire.

"My daughter told me that I did not have to prevent people from reading it or getting information," testified the bookseller.

She therefore decided to donate the profits from the sales of the book to an association that takes care of migrants, La Maison d'Adam.

All books sold

The success was there since the eight copies of the bookstore were sold.

Others are on order.

The business manager, however, explained that she was a little overwhelmed by her initiative, relayed in several articles and on social networks.

His approach has earned him both support and messages of hate.

The bookseller was delighted to see some donate without having bought the book.

"We must focus on associations that are struggling and warn about the fate of refugees," she said.

Since 2016, La Maison d'Adam has helped 12 migrants who have found a job or pursued studies.
