The preliminary round of the Champions League 2021-2022 ended on September 19 with the qualifications in particular of AS Maniema Union (DRC) and ASEC Mimosas (Ivory Coast).

From October 15 to 17, then from October 22 to 24, African football will have the right to its share of shocks in the Champions League (C1).

Stade Malien (Mali) - Horoya AC (Guinea), Amazulu FC (South Africa) - Tout Puissant Mazembe (DRC) or ASEC Mimosas (Ivory Coast) - CR Belouizdad (Algeria) will be some of the posters of the second round of C1.

This Sunday, September 19 was loaded with a dozen matches in the return preliminary round.

The biggest sensation of the evening came from Algeria where ES Sétif erased their defeat in the first leg (3-0 in Gambia) to eliminate Fortune FC on penalties (5-4).
