An Italian escapes to prison to get rid of living with his mother-in-law

A 52-year-old Italian citizen decided to escape house arrest with his mother-in-law by making several attempts to get the police to arrest him so that he would not stay with her.

The incident took place in the city of Este in Italy, where the man was sentenced to two years and two months in prison, after he requested to be transferred to the detention system, so that he would not remain under house arrest with his mother-in-law.


At first, the authorities refused the strange man’s request, which prompted him to flee his house, while the police searches did not take much time, the man appeared again and went to the security forces, and said: “I ran away, and here I am here to surrender myself, now you can throw Arrested".

When the policemen did not respond to his insistent request to arrest him, the man kicked and punched one of them, and then the man was charged with assaulting and resisting a public official, and for this reason he was arrested and arrested.

The man expressed his apology to the investigating judge for what happened, acknowledging that "he drank too much and did not remember anything, but now he only hopes to go to prison."
