People from all walks of life including Changchun citizens, students, soldiers and others participated in activities in the Tongdedian Square of the Palace Museum of the Puppet Manchukuo on September 18 to commemorate the 90th anniversary of the September 18th Incident.

Changchun used to be the so-called "capital" of the puppet Manchukuo during the Japanese invasion of China. The city has a large number of iron evidences of Japan's invasion of China.

The Puppet Manchukuo Palace was the palace where the last emperor of the Qing Dynasty Aixinjueluo Puyi lived as the puppet emperor of the Puppet Manchukuo.

It is a historical testimony to the Japanese imperialists’ invading and occupying northeast China by force and pursuing fascist colonial rule.

Today, it has become a patriotic education base.
