Guest on Saturday of Isabelle Morizet's show "There is not only one life in life", the actor and comedian Artus looks back on the main stages of his personal and professional career.

And in particular its passage through the very famous Cours Florent.

An apprentice actor experience that he hated.

INTERVIEW

It is undoubtedly the most famous acting school in France.

We can no longer count the stars of the cinema and the theater who have passed through the Cours Florent.

Among his many former students is Artus.

But the actor and humorist really did not appreciate this experience, cut short after only "two or three months" of lessons.

He explains without mince words the "thousand reasons" for his antipathy, Saturday on Europe 1, on the occasion of his invitation to the show by Isabelle Morizet

"I came from Montpellier. I was a provincial, I was a rugby player. What the people of Paris call a beauf", sums up the comedian.

"And when I get to that thing, I just see tall, skinny guys with long hair wearing Repetto shoes. I felt like I was in a Stranger skit."

"You should know that there are bouncers at Cours Florent"

"I was wondering who these people were, who are also judging you," Artus recalls.

"When you arrive in Paris, you're not well, you change your life. And you have these people who, really, are looking at you from top to bottom."

People with whom the future comedian feels a significant economic gap.

It is the latter who will push him to leave the training.

"I worked side by side. I did extras in the kitchen, I looked after the children in Saint-Cloud that I went to look for at school every Wednesday. I worked to pay for my apartment and the Florent course", details t -he.

"And opposite there were only people for whom it was not the case and for whom it was Papa who paid. Already, that does not put you in good shape."

But Artus continues to take the course from the Florent Course, until one day he "politely said 'Fuck your ass'", in his own words.

"You should know that there are bouncers at Cours Florent. And one day I arrive, and I present my card," says the actor.

"Oh no, you're not up to date with your payments, so you can't come in", the bouncers retort.

"It is the 3rd of the month, I was to be paid on the 2nd, I'm waiting for my pay," the student then tries to explain.

"You can't go home," they tell him.

"And there, I was ok, that's the course Florent today: a beautiful money factory", he explains, before adding with a smile: "I kiss them."
