On the night of the 16th, a fire broke out in a house in Kizugawa City, Kyoto Prefecture, and three bodies were found in the burnt remains.

The police are investigating the cause of the fire while confirming that it is three parents and children in their 70s and 30s who live in this house.

Around 9:40 pm on the 16th, a neighbor reported to the fire department that the house of Mr. Yukihiro Furuta (71) of Saganakadai, Kizugawa City was on fire.



The fire was extinguished after about four hours, but a two-story wooden house was almost completely burned down, and three bodies were found in the burnt remains.



According to the police, after the fire, Mr. Furuta, a 66-year-old wife, and three 35-year-old second sons' parents and children could not be contacted, and the police confirmed that they died. I'm in a hurry.



Also, the 38-year-old eldest son on the second floor jumped out of the window and evacuated.



Police and fire departments are investigating the cause of the fire.



The site is a residential area near the prefectural border with Nara prefecture, about 2 km away from Nishi-Kizu station on the JR Gakken Toshi line.
