A man violates house arrest and beats a policeman to return to prison to escape his mother-in-law

An Italian man deliberately violated a court ruling to transfer him from prison to house arrest in the house where his mother-in-law lived, and then beat a police officer in order to return to prison, according to the Italian newspaper, Libero.

The newspaper revealed that the 52-year-old man objected to the court's ruling, which is usually considered a gift to prisoners of good conduct, but the judge rejected his objection, and stressed the need to implement the ruling.

This prompted the man to flee the house (the place of house arrest), hours after the sentence was carried out, and then assaulted a police officer to ensure that he would return to prison again.

After the policeman caught him, the man told him, "You escaped from house arrest, and I surrender myself to you...Now you can arrest me."

When confronted with the investigative judge, the man apologized for what had happened, but said he only hoped to be sent back to prison.

But the judge eventually resolved to return the man to the house where his mother-in-law and wife lived.
