17 forest fires were extinguished in Russia per day

"Over the past day, September 16, in Russia, forest fire forces have liquidated 17 forest fires on an area of ​​319 hectares," TASS reports.

The maximum area of ​​fires was recorded in Yakutia, where there are nine fires on an area of ​​127,809 hectares.

Earlier it became known that Yakutia will receive additional funding to solve the problem of forest fires.
