As expected, and given that the incidence rate has dropped for several days below the bar of 200 cases of Covid-19 per 100,000 inhabitants in the Alpes-Maritimes, the health pass is no longer required in shopping centers.

But despite this "improvement in the health situation", the prefect decided to extend certain measures, and in particular the wearing of a mask in public spaces, at least until September 30.

While some departments have abandoned it, protection will remain required in all the communes of the Alpes-Maritimes, from the age of eleven.

Markets, urban streets with pedestrian traffic, shopping malls, shopping town centers are particularly concerned.

The mask also remains compulsory in events and within a perimeter of 50 meters around establishments, particularly schools, within which it is required to be worn.

The prefect also decided to continue, at least until the end of the month, "the ban on the consumption of alcoholic beverages in squares, roads and public places, outside restaurant terraces and authorized drinking establishments" and "The prohibition of any musical activity and any dissemination of amplified music in public space".
