Marilyn Manson gets rid of one of the complaints that weighs against him.

According to TMZ, justice determined that the statute of limitations had been exceeded in the rape case between him and one of his former companions.

The latter, who prefers to remain anonymous, says that in 2011, after a brief relationship, the interpreter of

The Beautiful People

sexually assaulted her.

This Tuesday, a judge dismissed the case for prescription.

Last May, when the woman, known as Jane Doe, lodged a complaint, she claimed to have suppressed memories of the time to justify not having denounced the facts earlier.

Shocking

The facts related by the complainant painted a chilling portrait of Marilyn Manson.

She said in particular that the singer had made her watch a video that he kept locked in a safe.

The images showed a groupie being sexually assaulted, during a tour in 1996, by the artist and his group.

In the complaint, everything is described very explicitly, and Jane Doe claims to have seen the groupie in question being urinated on, being threatened by a firearm, and even struck by this weapon.

Marilyn Manson did not get out of the business, however, since he is still targeted by a complaint from another of his ex-companions, Esmé Bianco, as well as two other women.

The singer has always denied the accusations, saying he was only engaged in consensual relationships.
