Sixty people, including children, were evicted as part of the Slum Resorption Plan.

Located at 9, rue Jean-Bouin, this abandoned site had been occupied since 2020 by 150 people.

The inhabitants were ordered on July 13 to vacate the premises within 24 hours, but many had stayed because they could not be able to relocate elsewhere.

The evacuation, which mobilized 15 CRS trucks, began at 7.45 a.m. and proceeded peacefully.

Associations are on site to support evacuees.
