[Explanation] Zhengzhou Metro Line 5, which was suspended due to the "July 20" heavy rain disaster, resumed its passenger operation on September 15.

A reporter from China News Agency found that the passenger flow of this line and other lines that resumed operation was stable and orderly.

[Explanation] In late July, many parts of Henan suffered extremely heavy rains, causing heavy casualties and property losses. Zhengzhou, the provincial capital, was affected by this. The entire subway line was suspended, and 14 passengers on Metro Line 5 were unfortunately killed.

[Explanation] On September 15, the second phase of Zhengzhou Metro Line 5 and Line 2 (Jiahe Station to Liuzhuang Station), Line 3 and Line 4 resumed passenger operations at the same time on September 15, after a lapse of nearly two months.

In addition, Zhengzhou Metro Line 1, Line 2 Phase I, and Suburban Line, which were the first to resume passenger operations on September 12.

So far, with the exception that the first phase of Line 14 does not have the conditions to resume operation due to equipment replacement, etc., Zhengzhou Metro has fully resumed passenger operation.

I take (Metro) 5 (Line) to 4 (Line), which is very convenient. (Metro resumes operation) eases the traffic in Zhengzhou. It is more convenient to take the subway.

In terms of time, I go to work (riding) on an electric car, which is shorter than (taking the subway), but this is more convenient.

[Explanation] Zhengzhou Metro announced on the 15th that all vehicles in operation on the line have undergone strict safety assessment and verification by professional organizations, run no-load, and have the conditions for passenger-carrying operation.

[Explanation] The reporter visited a number of subway lines that day and found that the passenger flow of Line 5, which has just resumed operation, was stable, and the passenger flow of Line 1 and Line 2 was steadily increasing.

[Explanation] At 7 o'clock on the 15th, there were 5 entrances and exits at Shakou Road Station on Line 5. Many passengers entered and exited one after another.

When entering the station, in addition to regular security checks on passengers, the subway also requires passengers to scan their health codes, take temperature measurements and wear masks throughout the journey. Passengers actively cooperate.

Before (the subway) I took the bus (to go to work) when I first stopped. I went to work at 9 o'clock, and then I arrived at the company at 9:50.

Then I will not be late on the (subway), and I went out at 7:30 before, now I go out at 8:00, and then (to work) will not be late, which is very convenient.

[Explanation] Zhengzhou Metro said that the subway operating unit has sent additional service personnel and volunteers to provide assistance to passengers in operating lines and stations.
