According to Owenhan, Assistant to the Minister of Finance, after the adjustment of the national student loan policy, full-time general undergraduate and junior college students will apply for loans each year from no more than 8,000 yuan to no more than 12,000 yuan; 12,000 yuan, raised to no more than 16,000 yuan; student loans are given priority to pay tuition and accommodation fees, and the excess can be used for daily living expenses.
