The Var department relaxed its health measures against Covid-19.

The prefecture announces this Wednesday the lifting of three health measures put in place to fight against the coronavirus pandemic from this Friday at 0 am.

There will no longer be an obligation to present a health pass at the entrance to six Var shopping centers of more than 20,000 m2, the consumption of alcohol on public roads is no longer prohibited.

And finally, it is no longer compulsory to wear a mask in the 58 towns along the coast, the Pays de Fayence and the Gapeau valley.

The obligation to wear a mask from 11 years old and outdoors is maintained throughout the department in the event of high population densities such as in markets, flea markets, in stadiums, in open-air shopping centers or on the forecourt and platforms of bus or train stations, among others.

And it also remains compulsory until October 4 in establishments subject to the health pass.
