At elementary and junior high schools in Oi Town, Fukui Prefecture, an emergency food menu was offered during lunch time on the 15th so that children could actually learn how to eat in order to acquire the necessary disaster prevention capabilities in the event of a disaster.

Emergency food meals are provided at all elementary and junior high schools in Oi Town, and at Hongo Elementary School, 3rd and 6th grade children gathered in the cafeteria to learn how to eat.

The curry served in the "retort pouch" is served with rice and roux, so you can eat it as it is without warming it.

When the teacher taught that it would be easier for the children to eat by shaking the bag well and collecting the ingredients on the bottom before opening the bag, the children immediately opened the bag and checked the taste.

This curry is stored in the town's school lunch center as an emergency food for school lunch, so it is supposed to be provided even in the event of an actual disaster.

A 6th grade boy who ate curry said, "It was easy to eat without a plate. I thought that a spoon and curry would be enough even in the event of a disaster."
