Club Bruges (Belgium) - Paris Saint-Germain (France) 1-1

In the absence of the suspended Senegalese Idrissa Guèye, his compatriot Abdou Diallo and the Moroccan Acharaf Hakimi did not shine too much against Bruges like their team.

Besiktas (Turkey) - Borussia Dortmund (Germany) 1-2

The Algerian Rachid Ghezzal and the Congolese defender Fabrice Nsakala, holders, could not do anything against the power of Dortmund.

Sébastien Haller, Ivorian striker of Ajax Amsterdam made a resounding debut in the Champions League, scoring a quadruple on Sporting Lisbon (5-1) for his first match in the competition.

The 26-year-old Ivorian international marked the sixteenth quadruplet in the history of C1, since it was renamed the Champions League (1992).

The latest was registered by Olivier Giroud with Chelsea on the Sevilla lawn (4-0) on December 2.

The Moroccan Noussair Mazraoui was one of the couriers for Haller.

His compatriot Zouhair Feddal also gave Paulinho an assist on Portugal's second goal

Sheriff Tiraspol (Moldova) - Chakhtior Donestsk (Ukraine) 2-0

Sheriff Tiraspol can say thank you to his Africans.

Malian Adama Traoré opened the scoring, and Guinean Momo Yansané closed the scoring seven minutes after entering the game. Ghanaian Edmund Addo also reigned in midfield.

Opposite, Burkinabe striker Lassina Traoré did not have much opportunity to shine.
