It was a year ago?

to the day.

On September 15, 2020, two of the Gulf Arab monarchies - namely the United Arab Emirates and Bahrain - signed an agreement in Washington to normalize their diplomatic relations with the State of Israel.

In the Emirates, this agreement signed under the aegis of the United States has not aroused the slightest criticism.

At least, publicly.

The economic benefits have also been very important for the country.

On the ground, the Abrahamic accords also had consequences for the local Jewish community, whose daily life is now easier.
