M6 launches this Wednesday evening season 11 of "Nightmare in the kitchen", a program still conducted by the baton by Philippe Etchebest.

The chief explains on Europe 1, at the microphone of "Culture Médias", that the participants of the program, who however know the program, are always surprised by what they live during the shooting.

INTERVIEW

Nightmare in the kitchen

returns.

The program where the chef Philippe Etchebest arrives in a restaurant in great financial difficulty to help the owners broadcasts Wednesday evening on M6 the first episode of its season 11. The inaugural episode is held in Notre-Dame-de-Vaulx, in Isère, in Béatrice and Patrice's restaurant, on the verge of closure.

But before giving his precious advice to turn the establishment around, the chef does not hesitate to shake them up a bit.

It may seem surprising, but Philippe Etchebest confides that many restaurateurs themselves call on the show, for help.

Without realizing its harshness.

"There is watching

Nightmare in the kitchen

on television quietly in your sofa, to laugh and sometimes cry. And there is to live it. It's very different," he said at the microphone of Europe 1.

The restorers accompanied after the shooting

The chef comes out of a shoot where the cook's wife told him of her exhaustion induced by the show: she expected more advice than sometimes salty reproaches from the chef.

"A piece of advice must be earned!" Laughs Philippe Etchebest.

"There is still a big cleaning to do before."

Once the cameras have been cut, M6 continues to support restaurateurs, with the services of a business expert who follows them for six months. He helps them in particular with logistics and accounting. What really get your head out of the water, far from the scenes at the start of filming. The return of

Cauchemar en Cuisine

takes place Wednesday evening at 9:05 p.m. on M6.
