The eight clubs qualified for the first African Women's Champions League, scheduled for Egypt in November 2021, are known.

They are Mamelodi Sundowns (South Africa), Wadi Degla FC (Egypt), Malabo King (Equatorial Guinea), Hasaacas Ladis (Ghana), Vihiga Queens (Kenya), AS Mandé (Mali) , AS FAR (Morocco), Rivers Angels (Nigeria).

On September 13, 2021, the African Football Confederation (CAF) confirmed the names of the eight clubs that will play in the first Women's Champions League in history.

For this brand new competition, launched by the previous management of CAF, qualifiers were organized in each of the zonal unions of continental football.

Apart from Wadi Degla FC, which qualifies automatically because Egypt will host the tournament in November, each team has won their ticket on the pitch.

AS FAR (Morocco) will represent North Africa (UNAF), AS Mandé (Mali) West Africa A (UFOA A), Hasaacas Ladis (Ghana) and Rivers Angels (Nigeria) the West Africa B (UFOA B), the Malabo King (Equatorial Guinea) Central Africa (UNIFFAC), the Vihiga Queens (Kenya) East and Central-East Africa (CECAFA), and the Mamelodi Sundowns (South Africa) Central Africa (COSAFA).

It remains to know the last details of this first female C1: exact dates of the competition and its formula.
