In a case where a university student in Nagasaki City was arrested for hitting and killing a 79-year-old woman with a blunt instrument in Tosu City, Saga Prefecture, the deceased woman seems to have been beaten repeatedly with multiple wounds on her head, which is painful. I learned from an interview with the police that I was so shocked.

On the 10th of this month, Chitose Otsuka (79) was killed by being hit with a blunt device in the garden of a house in Tosu City, Saga Prefecture. Koushi Yamaguchi (25), a fourth-year student at the School of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Nagasaki University, was arrested on suspicion of murder.

According to police, Yamaguchi has denied some of the charges, saying that he had no definitive murderous intentions.

On the other hand, when the police examined the body in detail, it seems that Mr. Otsuka had multiple wounds on his head and was repeatedly beaten, and he was shocked enough to break his head.

The backpack I had when I was self-confessed contained a hammer with a handle of 38 cm and a metal part of 12 cm in length, and police are investigating whether it was used in the case.

In addition, police interviews revealed that Yamaguchi stated that he had moved from Nagasaki by JR the day before, stayed overnight in Hakata, and went to Tosu by taxi on the day.

Police are investigating the behavior and motivation before and after the incident.
