Sagamihara City announced that a foreign substance was found in the Pfizer vaccine at the vaccination site for the new coronavirus vaccine.
The city asked Pfizer to analyze the foreign body because it was not vaccinated and the vaccine was recovered.
According to Sagamihara City, white floating foreign substances were found in Pfizer vaccines at two mass inoculation sites in Minami Ward on the 11th and 12th of this month and at one clinic in Chuo Ward on the 14th. ..
Foreign substances were found in a total of 18 doses of one vaccine at each venue, and all were recovered by the city without inoculation because white suspended matter was confirmed when diluting.
On the other hand, other vaccines with the same lot number as the vaccine in which the foreign substance was found were used as they were after confirming that no foreign substance was contained.
The city has informed all the mass inoculation venues in the city and medical institutions that perform individual inoculations about this time and alerted them, and requested Pfizer to analyze foreign substances.
