Khaled El-Sawy sets off a surprise and confesses: “The stage of disobedience” almost killed my life

The artist Khaled El-Sawy admitted that he fell into the trap of addiction during a difficult period in his life and at the time thought about suicide, noting that art saved him from addiction and madness and all those things and bad habits.

Khaled El-Sawy's statements topped social networking sites after his dialogue with the media, Samar Yousry, on the "Youm Lake" program, as the boldness of the statements, as usual, caused great controversy and comments after the episode was shown.

Khaled Al-Sawy added, "Praise be to God, I survived this stage that almost killed my life, my future and my reputation, and I do not deny that art also saved me from madness, and from the bad qualities that I was suffering from. It is enough that it was the only thing that kept me away from suicide, addiction, and all absurdity."

He explained, "I was addicted for a period and I am not proud of this stage because it is a sin, and I will not speak out for a crime I was committing against myself, and I feel that I am currently better than the past."

Al-Sawy warned everyone who thinks about addiction: “What I want to say after what I did, and did everything, I got married and came back to control my food and drink and play another sport, do not try. And your confidence in yourself, if you are not strong and you see that you can come back, you will not know that you are strong or not for that, no matter the first.”

Khaled El-Sawy revealed about the people who harmed him the most, and “he himself”: “The most who can harm me is me. It is not possible for any of the producers to harm me. These are things that bother me, but my reactions can make a bigger mistake sometimes, instead of treating the situation right by treating it by force.” The weapons, and the cards in my hand, I am the one who hurt me the most, and I am the one who stood with me the most.”

He confirmed that he did not create any problems throughout his artistic career and that he is a friend of all artists, but he has some minor problems with the producers out of the 40 producers he worked with.

Khaled El-Sawy pointed out that he likes to apologize if he makes any mistake.

Regarding his marriage and personal life, he said, "I got married at an old age... After marriage, I became committed... I gave up all bad things... My wife came at the right time."
