3 Hong Kong District Councillors resign, and the Hong Kong Government publishes a gazette announcement: the corresponding seats are vacant
[Global Network Reporter Zhao Youping] The Hong Kong Government published an announcement in the Gazette today (10), announcing that one member of the Eastern District Council Jinping Constituency, Tai Po District Council Yun Tau Tong Constituency and Yuen Long District Council Yat Chak Constituency will each be vacant.
According to the announcement, due to the resignation of three district councilors, their seats will be vacant according to section 26(b) of the District Councils Ordinance (Chapter 547).
